UNODC conducts exercise to counter maritime crime in Sri Lanka
Trincomalee (Sri Lanka), 7 January 2020 - UNODC conducted a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) exercise at the Sri Lanka Navy Base in Trincomalee in November 2019. The exercise is part of a VBSS Boarding Officer training course delivered by UNODC's Global Maritime Crime Programme to coastguards from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam with the support of the Sri Lanka Navy.
